Mike Koski Executive Director
mike.koski@bccycling.ca

A lifelong B.C. resident, Mike grew up in Victoria, graduated high school in Cranbrook, completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria, and competed as a Canadian national team rower at international events. Mike discovered cycling to school was faster and cheaper than driving while in university, and carried over his love of bike commuting to a 25-year career at ICBC. While working in government relations, communications and marketing, and leading road safety campaigns, Mike built a reputation amongst his ICBC co-workers and friends for providing bike commuting advice and helping make the transition from driving to cycling both safe and fun. A past Board Director with Vancouver’s HUB Cycling, Mike lives in east Vancouver with his wife and two teen boys.
